Back-up point guard Nate Robinson has been quiet through the series but he led the No. 4-ranked Boston Celtics past Dwight Howard and the No. 2-placers Orlando Magic, 55-42 in Game Six on Friday in Boston for the Eastern Conference finals of the NBA Playoffs 2010.
Robinson garnered 13 points for Boston, astounding fans at the TD Garden. He has been a one-man wrecking crew and Orlando has had no answers, and the feisty player even drew the third foul on the Magic’s Howard (13 points) on a drive to the hoop.
Somewhat banged-up Rajon Rondo also has done good work, scoring 12 points, followed by Paul Pierce with 12 points and Ray Allen with eight.
Robinson played about 8 1/2-minutes while Rondo rested and stretched out along the sideline in the period.
The Celtics opened up their largest lead of the half (21 points) with about seven minutes left in the half. They currently lead the series, 3-2.
