A massive explosion by a ruptured gas line affected today the areas of Johnson County and Hood County, Texas. As a result of the explosion three people were reported missing.
Hood County Fire Marshall Brian Fine talked about the situation and the missing workers, saying they went missing went a work crew ruptured the gas line while they were digging a trench.
“We can’t get close. … We have to wait for the gas line to get shut off and wait for this fire to burn itself out,” Fine said.
He also advised people to stay at home so they can have the roads open for rescue labors. The pipeline belongs to Enterprise Products Partners. People were surprised and scared by the big noise and flames triggered by the explosion.
